As a Game Economy Designer at Walker Labs, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of gaming by crafting the economy of Walker World – a vast, interoperable and innovative game experience. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5 and blockchain technology, you will have the opportunity to create a game that players love and that we can be proud of, setting an example for how games are made in this space.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the game economy, including player retention, metagame, motivation, and in-game marketplaces. Utilizing analytical data, you will make informed decisions to improve player retention, player progression, and daily active users. A player-first mentality with appreciation for the user experience and “finding the fun” is essential

We are looking for a Game Economy Designer who is innovative, solution-focused, and has a keen interest in solving unique challenges that come with NFT integration and blockchain tokenomics. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Game Economy Designer on shipped games, experience with player retention, metagame, motivation, and in-game marketplaces, and a strong understanding of blockchain technology and the exciting new experiences it can enable.
